White Chocolate Bread Pudding

Our father and grandfather’s favorite dessert. Simply put, this is the best bread pudding that we have tasted anywhere we have ever visited. Our version is made with white chocolate, La Segunda Central Bakery Cuban bread, Sunny Florida Dairy milk and Florida eggs. Topped with a rich Bacardi rum sauce. Enough to share.

US$12.00

Churros "Tres Amigos"

Golden-brown Spanish pastry dusted with cinnamon sugar. Served with three sauces of rich, warm chocolate, caramel and guava.

US$10.00

Key Lime Pie

The original Key lime pie recipe was thought to have been created in Key West, the birthplace of our grandmother and great-grandmother, Carmen Piloto Hernandez in the late 19th century. When the family moved to Ybor City, they brought a prized Key lime tree to plant at their home, beginning a tradition of enjoying fresh Key lime pie at family gatherings. Today our pies start with a graham cracker crust, and our filling is made from pasteurized egg yolks, condensed milk and “Nellie & Joe’s” Key lime juice. That’s it! Key lime pie is the “Official Pie of the State of Florida.”

  • Went to celebrate our son’s 7th birthday on the water and it was stunning. They have excellent bread and chicken fingers for kiddos fyi!! The food was delicious however they only offer Flan as a dessert so there was no treat for him to enjoy. I asked for any alternative but the answer was no. EVERY question I had (including asking for plates to use with bread and butter) was as if I was asking for A LOT. This is a one off because every time I’m there it’s SO GREAT all around but as the management told me… I could have just asked for a different server during our meal (yes that was the solution). Ready, here’s the issue: The long blond haired server that has a name starting with C was the issue. She seemed frustrated with everything we asked about but we just dealt with it but it’s strange to have a server “helping” you that seems like you are annoying them. The end of the meal I provided my card. She returned after charging us for our check AND the table next to us. I caught that the check slips didn’t match. An extra 92.02 was charged. I did confirm my card was used on both tables. I asked for a manager and she ran up to him trying to explain whatever she was trying to get out of. The entire meal was ruined by this one team member’s terrible attitude doing a terrible job. This is one of few locations you can expect the best of everything and tonight was a big fail.

  • I have been coming to Columbia with my family for years while we vacation on Clearwater Beach. Every visit I am more and more impressed!! The pitcher of Mojitos is a must, and the Huckleberry Martini is also delicious. Would highly recommend the black bean cakes and also the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The tomato salad is the best I’ve ever had, and we also love the churros!!! This time, our server Ray took exceptionally great care of us. He was kind, great at what he does, and laughed with us!! And even helped us to bring a special treat back home for our grandma who spent every Tuesday afternoon at the Columbia during her Florida winters. We are always impressed at the Columbia and can’t wait for our next visit!!!

  • I've been to three of the Columbia locations over the years. And all of them are absolutely excellent. There is no place like them. They set the standard for excellence, flavor, service, and atmosphere. However this location in particular stands above the others, even in my opinion over the original Ybor location, for this one is always near and dear to my heart. Nothing in particular that I can place a finger on, but I've found this location to always be my favorite. I've lost count how many times we've been here, how many major family events or just quick weekend celebrations we've had here over the years. Even after moving way out of the area, and having to drive over an hour and a half each way, past other Columbia locations in fact. The Columbia at Sand Key, and all the beloved staff there have become a part of my family's most cherished, core memories. A special shout out to James C. You're the best! Thank you all for all the awesome memories, and here's to many, many more in the future. All our love, -The Crazy, Happy, Disney, Gluten-free, Family.

  • I had my birthday dinner at Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with the Black Bean Cakes for tapas, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and even better with a little guacamole. I actually caught myself making that eyes-half-closed face because the flavors were just that good. For our entrées, I had the baked stuffed grouper, and my wife had the Lechón Asado “1905.” Both dishes were incredible. Mine was so good I cleaned the plate and even used the table bread to soak up every drop of the sauce. We shared a flan for dessert, which was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. What made the night truly memorable was our waiter, Edgar. He was personable, conversational, and genuinely kind. Since it was my first time dining here, his attention and thoughtful service made my birthday feel really special, and I appreciated that more than I can say. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a beautiful view of the Gulf that gave the evening an extra layer of charm. This is an excellent spot for celebrating a special occasion, and we will definitely be coming back.

  • First impressions walking in.. Am I under dressed? It looks fine dining lol. The atmosphere is awesome. The decor with all the old pictures. The staff are all dressed up. The tables are all nicely set With a great view of the intercoastal waterway. Their bread is all freshly baked. I would suggest getting there salad with their homemade dressing. They mix your salad table side. It is $10, but worth every penny. Every dinner item I've had here is really top notch. Pricing varies. Some dinners are moderate to high price. While others are average price. Really it's affordable for any family.

  • Decided to take the drive all the way out here instead of the location in Ybor City. And it was totally worth it! This place has a good Castilian vibe and there’s waterfront views here. The service was good, timely, and efficient. I liked how they mixed the 1905 salad in front of us and asked if we were doing anything special. The food here is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the 1905 Salad, but there’s more: my crusted Mahi Mahi was very enjoyable with the lemon sauce. However, I wished the hot sauce came out quicker. I also really enjoyed the Flan and Key Lime Pie. They were both very sweet. Overall, would absolutely recommend this! All Columbia locations are great.

  • Beautiful waterfront views set the perfect backdrop for our evening. The tableside 1905 Salad was a standout fun presentation and absolutely delicious. Our server Jarred was excellent, and we appreciated that Lily, the manager, personally stopped by to check on us and was warm and professional. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Valet available.
